Don’t let holiday stress get in your way!

Dec 15, 2022

Stress during the holidays is something so many of us experience. While Tri Force cannot help you with all the shopping, hang up lights or creating the perfect holiday dinners, we can help relieve some of that stress that comes along with the ‘ most wonderful time of the year.’

Here’s a few tips to help make the holidays feel less stressful…

  1. Relaxation Techniques- While we cannot completely avoid all stresses in our lives, we can develop healthier ways of responding to them. This can help calm anxieties before they escalate. One of the ways we recommend is focused breathing- take long, slow deep breaths; as you breathe try to disengage your mind from distracting thought!
  2. Reduce Muscle Tension- By working with the body in the right way, we make sure that you are able to relieve your stress and tension. Exercises and stretches at home will help to restore and maintain mobility and range
  3. Spinal Adjustments- A result of stress is tension, which causes your body to go out of alignment. Your spine communicates with everything in your body and keeping it aligned will make sure you are feeling better as you navigate through the holidays.

When it comes to stress, the best option is to keep as calm as you can and take your time (we know it may be difficult to do so, but you got it!). The key to the best holiday season is time with family and friends, the amazing food and making memories with all the ones we love! We hope you all have an amazing holiday season a happy New Year!

As we start new routines this fall, it’s so easy to lose motivation. We all have days where we wake up, we are feeling sluggish and unmotivated to do the things that need to be done for the day; sitting in bed all day watching our new favorite show definitely sounds like something we would rather do. It’s in these times where we have to push ourselves out of the slump and show our mind and body who’s the boss.
